☀️ A Huge Thank You ☀️

We wanted to extend the biggest, most heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along to our summer fete this year. It was a hot one and we really appreciate everyone who braved the heat and helped make the day such a success.

A special thank you to our sponsors, our main sponsor - Walker & Lewis, and to Scott Horsey at SPH Displays & K.Jones Roofing for their generous support. Your sponsorship helped make the day special, and we're incredibly grateful that you chose to support our school and community.

To our wonderful teachers and volunteer parents, thank you for so generously giving up your time - we simply cannot do it without your support and we are so thankful.

To all of our Y6 pupils - for your brilliant stalls and your endless enthusiasm, thank you - you were and always are, amazing! 💛

To the 600+ people from our local community who came along to support us, thank you so much. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces, and we hope you all had a great time.

To ADM Nurseries for their generous plant & flower donations, to Konrad at R & K Building Construction for building and donating an incredible Coconut Shy game to us. To the team at Ottimo Digital Print for donating the printing of our banner to us and again to SPH Displays for their generous loan of lawn games. To everyone who kindly loaned us gazebos for the day too!

To the parents who donated amazing baked goods for our cake stall and to everyone who brought something to our donation drive.

🎪 The Dolau PTA Summer Fete – Everyone Welcome! ☀️

With the return of Binky B Bouncy Castle Hire Cardiff, Face Painting With Maria Price, Beefy's Baps, Paynespizzawales, Cwtch and Crumb Bakery, Mr whippy south wales plus - a whole host of game stalls with fantastic prizes, selling stalls, tuck stalls, summer trail, lawn games, some wonderful stalls from our Y6 students and a guest appearance from two surprise visitors! 🌟⚡️

We wanted to take a moment to share that recently we had the pleasure of presenting our school's Wellbeing Club with a cheque for £2,000 - thanks to a very generous grant from Llanharan Community Council.

The Wellbeing Club is such an important part of our school, helping pupils form connections with the school community and with each other, providing fun and creative activities to help pupils relax and unwind in a safe and nurturing space.

This funding will make such a meaningful difference to the provision they can offer and we are thrilled to be a small part of it.

Special visitor for the children today 🐰🍫

A big thank you to County Borough councillors - Cllr Janine Turner - County Member Brynna & Llanharan Ward , David Evans - Councillor for Brynna and Llanharan ward and Geraint Hopkins for reimbursing us for over 500 eggs! We are so grateful yet again for your kind support.

Thank you so much everyone who supported the PTA and bought a Wonkau bar at today’s event - it was so lovely to see all of the happy faces opening their bars 🍫✨

Just a quick update regarding remaining orders & prizes. Any orders that were not collected today will be placed in the children’s bags tomorrow.

If any golden tickets are found this evening or tomorrow, please bring them into school on Monday so the children can claim their prizes. After this date, any remaining ticket holders will need to collect their prize from reception.

If you win a class prize, please claim your voucher and hand this to the class teacher.

If your bar doesn’t come home in your child’s bag tomorrow, please do let us know and we’ll get it sorted.

Thank you all so much again for supporting us - we really appreciate it! 💜
