If your child turns 3 between 1st September 2026 and the 31st August 2027, you have until friday to apply for a school nursery place for September 2027 (and January and April 2027 for rising 3s). within the application window. To apply go to www.monmouthshire.gov.uk/applying-for-a-school-place

There' still time to apply for the Childcare Offer for the Autumn Term. If your child turned 3 this summer and you meet all eligibility criteria, you can apply today!

The Offer could provide you with up to 30 hours of combined funded nursery education and childcare, for up to 48 weeks of the year. This could help you return to work sooner or increase your hours.

The Welsh Government is making progress on expanding and simplifying their childcare funding plans, but you can still apply for the Childcare Offer for September as normal.

The Childcare Offer for Wales provides eligible parents with a mixture of childcare and early education for children aged 3 or 4.
