Registered NCMA Childminder in the Caernarfon area with a Degree in Health and Social care, BTEC National Diloma in Early ears and NVQ 3 in Social Care and level 3 in Safeguarding children. The main role of a childminder is to ‘share the care’ of young children with their parents by recognising and understanding the prime role parents play in their children’s upbringing. There is a duty to protect children under the Children Act 1989, and I have a role to provide the highest quality of care working within the National Minimum standards of childcare. I have inspections by the CSSIW to ensure that I meet the National Minimum Care Standards in relation to registration of children under 8 years old, checks are also made on anyone living at my home over the age of 16.
