Amy Reynolds - Ironman Wales Finisher 🐉
That feels good to write.
Amy came to us having had a few rough experiences at the event in the past but from IMW DNF to finisher AND Ironman PB by over 20mins is absolutely insane!
Amy has grown in confidence this year and the journey has been so satisfying. The result is the cherry on top but athlete she is today compared to 1 year ago is an absolute credit to Amy and her hard work! Unreal Amy ⚡️
Kieran Williams 🐠
Like always Kieran setup his day with an amazing swim. He really wanted to bike well but didn’t want it to jeopardise his run. He bike PB’d by over 30mins but did it in such an efficient way he looked fresh hitting the run! His attitude, maturity and confidence in his ability has grown more than I could have ever imagined throughout the year, week on week I saw him ticking off sessions, his determination after failing a session is exactly why and how he got the results he deserved yesterday! I was blown away by this man yesterday so much respect for the bloke. Big up the fish ⚡️
Rhys Mogs
Find me a more chilled guy. I love Rhys, he trains hard, commits to the plan and reaps the rewards. He has been bubbling in the background for a while now just working hard when no one’s looking! Destroyed the bike and ran like a machine, all with the exact same facial expression 😂 his humour has brought morale to the group this year and he got the result and medal he well and truly deserves. Just the start from Rhys ⚡️
Leigh Beddington
Now this could be a full post in itself! 1 year ago Leigh took to the road on his bike for the first time 🤯 he’s now an Ironman Wales finisher!! The progression has been different gravy, a busy schedule ment we had to tweak a lot of things as the year went on but thats a perfect example of a good Athlete - coach relationship and what coaching is truly about. He made zero excuse and was tunnel visioned! I could go on all day about how he got to the day but all I want to say is this guy deserves credit in bucket loads, he’s inspiring and an absolute pleasure to be apart of his journey. Leigh hats off ⚡️
Lee Jackson
Lee’s Ironman story finished with a DNF out the swim for reason
