Ysgol T Llew Jones Dere mewn â chalon lon i gastell y plant uwchben y don.

Our school is situated in the rural village of Brynhoffnant in the county of Ceredigion, and serves the village and the communities of Glynarthen, Rhydlewis, Pontgarreg, Blaenporth and Penmorfa. The school admits pupils on a part-time basis to the Nursery class in the term following their third birthday and on a full-time basis to the reception class in the term following their fourth birthday. Th

e school is designated as a Welsh-medium school in accordance with the Education Authority’s language policy. This means that Welsh is the main medium of the life and work of the school and seeks to ensure that pupils are fully bilingual by the time they transfer to the secondary sector.

Pupils at school have been busy painting stones as part of a fun activity to spread kindness, happiness and creativity in our community. These stones will be hidden in a safe and interesting location within the local area. We would encourage you to find tgese stones as you go for a wslk in the locality. If you find one, the QRCode on the back will explain what we would like you to do. This is a community activity to encourage a little walking, fitness and sharing dome happiness with others. Enjoy finding our stones and have some fun doing so😀.

Mae disgyblion yr ysgol wedi bod yn brysur yn paentio cerrig fel rhan o weithgaredd hwyliog i ledaenu caredigrwydd, hapusrwydd a charedigrwydd yn ein cymuned. Bydd y cerrig hyn yn cael eu cuddio mewn mannau diogel a diddorol yn yr ardal leol. Os byddwch yn dod o hyd i un o’r cerrig, mae “QR Cod” yn esbonio beth i wneud ar y cefn. Gweithgaredd cymunedol i annog chi i fynd am dro a rhannu bach o hapusrwydd gydag eraill. Mwynhewch yr hwyl a sbri yn chwilio am y cerrig yn ein hardal😀

Dramatic 🎭

Bydd ein Clwb Dramatic i blant 7 i 11 oed yn ail-ddechrau nôl ar Ddydd Llun 7fed o Fedi am 6 wythnos ychwanegol.
Mae nifer cyfyngedig o lefydd ar ôl os bod gyda'ch plentyn diddordeb yn ymuno gyda ni.
Sesiwn hwylus o ddysgu a datblygu sgiliau drama ac actio! 😀

Wel am ddechreuad a chroeso arbennig i Eisteddfod y Garreg Las 💙🎶
Cafodd rhai o ddisgyblion yr ysgol cyfle gwych i berfformio caneuon adanbyddus Cymraeg yn ogystal â chân groeso’r Eisteddfod ar lwyfan y maes heddiw! Diolch yn fawr i Cardi Iaith am y profiad bythgofiadwy a llongyfarchiadau i bawb a gymerodd rhan 😃

What a wonderful start and welcome to the National Eisteddfod 💙🎶
Some of our pupils had a fantastic time performing a few well-known Welsh songs as well as the Cân Groeso on one of the Eisteddfod’s main stages today!
