At Schoollane we are saddened to hear the news that another local nursery and preschool has suddenly closed their doors which is devastating for all children and staff and the local community

We are proud to receive a wonderful report from Estyn this summer. School Lane Preschool has received 2 judgements of Good, for Care and Development and Leadership and Management. We also received 3 Excellents for Well-being, Teaching and Assessment and Environment. The report is available online in full, so we welcome everyone to have a read!

Exciting news!

Free sofa to a good home!
Dark grey leather 2 seater sofa with manual recliner. Perfect for a den or playroom, used but with lots of life still in it. Free to anyone that is able to collect it from School Lane.

We want to give a big congratulations to all of our children graduating from School Lane this year! It has been a privilege to help you grow and develop ready for the next adventure. Thank you to everyone that was able to attend our summer sports day and graduation this past week. Have a wonderful summer holidays!

Auntie Toni has been busy making cakes and scones for our summer fair tomorrow! Then the ovens stopped working and Ysgol San Sior came to our rescue and baked our delicious treats for us! Thank you so much!

Earth Day 2026!
This week the children celebrated Earth Day! We learned about recycling and made sure our plants had lots of fresh water. We had a lot of fun with messy play, using our hands to paint our own planet Earth! We also explored through water play, learning about the importance of keeping our oceans clean from litter! Happy Earth Day from School Lane! 🌍♻️🐳
