Having worked with children with additional support needs and in particular Autism for many years, I know some of the challenges you can face as parents. My aim is to support parents and provide tutoring in a range of subjects tailored to meet the needs of your child. I can use a range of strategies including visual timetables, now and next boards, sensory activities and multi-sensory approaches t

o help your child achieve. I mostly have experience with Primary aged children but I am willing to support older children (as long as it is not algebra equations!)

I am a GTCS registered Primary school teacher and mother myself. I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of the children I work with. I have worked as a mainstream Primary teacher, Support for Learning teacher and a class teacher for children with autism for over sixteen years. I have also have a wide experience in supporting children with social and emotional difficulties. Over the years I have worked with some children who exhibit very challenging behaviour and my aim is always to try and find the cause of the behaviours and then work on solutions to help make learning easier. I also have knowledge of dyslexia, PDA, anxiety and social and emotional difficulties. Being a parent of a unique child can be a very lonely experience. I am aware of the challenges faced by families and I want to help you and your child.
