Guys, my UK after-school spaces are now FULLY BOOKED! 🥹

If you’re looking for a 1-1 space for your child, please do get in touch and I can add you to the waiting list for future availability.

Alternatively, I still have group sessions available for Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6, which are a lovely way for children to learn together while getting targeted support.

LAST CALL FOR ADULT BEGINNER SPANISH CLASSES! 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸

We start Wednesday 2nd September, every Wednesday from 8pm–9pm. We’ll start off online, learning all the basics in a fun, relaxed way. No pressure and absolutely no previous Spanish needed!

You’ll get a workbook and access to an AI practice bot so you can practise between sessions too.

And because I like to make things fun… we’ll finish the course with our final session at a local pub! 🍷🇪🇸

Let’s face it, absolutely no learning will happen if we hold every session in the pub! 😂

Small, friendly groups with a native UK teacher and 18 years of teaching experience, following the England National Curriculum.

📖 English: Tuesdays, 10am BST
🧮 Maths: Thursdays, 10am BST

🇨🇳 China / 🇸🇬 Singapore / 🇲🇾 Malaysia / 🇵🇭 Philippines: 5pm
🇯🇵 Japan: 6pm

3 simple ways to help your child feel ready for going back to school 💜📚

The summer holidays are flying by, and if your little one is feeling a mixture of excitement and nerves about going back to school, you’re definitely not alone! 🥹

Here are 3 things you can do now to make that transition a little easier:

1️⃣ Talk about transition day 💜
Remind them of all the lovely things they did when they visited their new class. Who did they meet? What activities did they enjoy? What did they like about their teacher? Helping them remember the positives can make going back feel much less daunting.

2️⃣ Arrange a playdate 👫
If you know another child from their class, arrange a little playdate before school starts. Seeing a familiar face on that first day can make SUCH a difference, especially for children who are feeling nervous.

3️⃣ Take away the fear of “the work” 📚
Sometimes children worry about school simply because they don’t know what to expect. Have a look at what they’ll be learning on Twinkl together and make it feel exciting rather than scary.

And if they need a little extra confidence before September, I’m offering £8 back-to-school sessions to help children get settled, build confidence and feel ready for the year ahead. ☺️💜

Remember: they don’t need to know everything before they walk through that school gate. They just need to know that they can do it, and you’re there cheering them on. 🥰

During summer school, I started introducing Spanish and it went down an absolute treat! 🇪🇸

So I thought… why not keep it going?!

I’m starting Spanish for Beginners classes for KS2 children, and I’m really excited about these ones. They’ll be fun, relaxed and interactive, with lots of games, speaking, activities and plenty of Spanish from the very first session.

Fridays in Hightown: 4pm
Fridays online: 5:30pm
£10 per session

And if there’s enough interest, I’m very happy to start a KS1 group too!

I’ve lived and taught in Spain, and I absolutely love sharing the language and culture with children. 🇪🇸

Kinda chic to love what you do 🤍

14-Day Back-to-School Reset

2 weeks left of summer… let’s ease back in gently.

• Days 14-10: Shifting bedtime 15 min earlier each night
• Days 9-7: School shopping haul / trying on shoes
• Days 6-4: Backpack packing, labeling supplies
• Days 3-2: Practice “school morning” routine (alarm, breakfast, out the door on time)
• Day 1: Meal-prepping lunches, laying out first-day outfit

Eased in, not thrown in! Happy kids, happy parents!
