We are delighted to announce the opening of Ocean Tuition The Cove, our brand-new tuition centre located at 75 Dane Street, Liverpool, L4 4DY, just off County Road in the heart of North Liverpool.
At Ocean Tuition, we believe every student deserves a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive. That is why our first centre is proudly called The Cove.
A cove is a small, sheltered area along a coastline, protected from strong currents and rough seas. Throughout nature, coves provide a safe haven where marine life can rest, grow, and find protection from the challenges of the open ocean.
The name reflects our vision for Ocean Tuition. Just as a cove offers safety and shelter to sea creatures, The Cove provides a secure, welcoming, and supportive environment where children and young people can build confidence, develop new skills, and achieve their full potential.
Every learner's journey is unique. Some students arrive feeling confident and ready to explore, while others may need extra support to navigate challenges. At The Cove, we create a calm and encouraging space where students can learn at their own pace, ask questions without fear, and receive the guidance they need to succeed.

To celebrate this exciting milestone, we officially opened our doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:00am today marking the beginning of a new educational hub dedicated to supporting young people, families, schools, and communities across Liverpool.

Across the country, schools continue to face increasing pressures, larger class sizes, growing curriculum demands, and the ongoing challenge of supporting students with a wide range of learning needs. Our new centre includes:
• Three dedicated teaching rooms
• Capacity to run three tuition sessions simultaneously
• Facilities for both one-to-one and small-group tuition
• Comfortable and focused learning spaces
• Easy access from County Road and surrounding areas
• CCTV coverage both inside and outside the premises for enhanced security and safeguarding
Whether students attend for individual support or small-group sessions, they will benefit from an environment specifically designed to encourage concentration, confidence, and progress.

One of the key factors that makes Ocean Tuition different is our commitment to employing fully qualified teachers.
Every member of our teaching team:
• Holds recognised teaching qualifications
• Has classroom experience
• Possesses an Enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) check
• Understands the National Curriculum and examination requirements
• Is committed to creating positive and supportive relationships with students

Supporting Vulnerable and Disadvantaged Learners
Education should never be limited by financial circumstances.
Ocean Tuition is currently progressing through the process of becoming an Ofsted-registered provider. This important step will enable us to work even more closely with local authorities, schools, and educational partners to provide high-quality educational support for vulnerable learners.
We are also developing funding opportunities aimed at supporting children from low-income households. Our goal is to ensure that students who would benefit most from tuition are able to access it, regardless of their family's financial situation.
