Year 2 have had a fabulous afternoon. came into school and delivered a workshop on pond dipping with us which linked beautifully to two of our science topics: animals including humans and living things and their habitats. We explored pond water using pipettes and a digital microscope. We observed lots of interesting creatures and are happy to hear that they will be returned to their natural habitats.

What an amazing opportunity for Year 5 & 6. We visited Future Yard and experienced some live music. We then split into groups to master song writing, producing music, and market design. The absolute highlight of the trip was learning to become light technicians to set the vibe for the studio! 🎸🎤🎵🎶

Year 5 enjoyed a writing workshop at the library this week. We discovered lots of facts about the exhibition ‘Black British Ballet’ coming to the library soon. We found about some inspirational ballet dancers who strived to reach their goals even when they encountered prejudice and discrimination. To conclude our learning, we enjoyed writing about what we had learnt and thinking about our own goals for the future.
