Year 7 Drama students are currently studying Commedia dell’Arte, focusing on the contrasting characters of the Master (Pantalone) and the Servant (Harlequin). In lessons, students have been exploring the use of masks through mime, physical theatre, and gibberish dialogue while creating their own Lazzi performances.

All abilities are welcome to get involved, with the camp being completely FREE OF CHARGE! Lunch will also be provided.

Coaches for the day include Josh Bates and Josh Connolly who are both RFU trained Level 3 coaches, as well as Craig and Daniel Harvey who have over 500 appearances between them for our 1st Team.

Yesterday, Year 7 took part in an important assembly on internet safety led by Elaine from Merseyside Police. 🌐👮‍♀️ We would like to thank Elaine for her valuable advice and support in ensuring our students are equipped to navigate the online world safely and confidently. 💻📱

Today our Year 9 students took part in the nationwide “Stop the Bleed Day” campaign, joining over 250,000 students across the country to learn the vital, life-saving skills of stopping a catastrophic hemorrhage.

Led by experienced professionals, Dr Genevieve and Nurse Chloe, students, alongside PC Elaine and Mrs Barr and Mr Bell, learned the ABC approach: staying alert, stopping the bleeding, and controlling the wound.

Throughout the sessions, our students demonstrated exceptional maturity, focus and respect, engaging thoughtfully with such an important and potentially life‑saving topic. Their attitude and commitment were outstanding. Well done, everyone! 🚑🩸💪
