We are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference working with children.

Jets Centre in Waterloo is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a playworker, supporting both our Breakfast Club and Afterschool sessions.

The role involves dropping off and collecting children from school, as well as organising engaging and creative games and activities
in a safe, caring environment. Applicants must be at least 17 years old.

While formal qualifications are not required, the successful candidate should be willing to undertake further training. A full DBS check and suitable references are essential. The position offers 22 hours per week.

Hi Everyone. As you may already know, Friday 19th December is the final day at J.E.Ts before we close over the Christmas break. We will be closing a little earlier than usual at 5pm on Friday. Nursery, Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club sessions will then re-open as usual from Tuesday 6th January 2026.

Thank you all for your support in 2025. May we wish you all a merry Christmas and a very happy new year.

Big thanks to everyone who came and supported and donated to J.E.Ts Christmas tree at the St Nicholas Church, Blundellsands Christmas Tree Festival. The festival closed last night with a very festive set from the choir Indigo Vibe.
