Thank you for joining us today for our nurturing young mathematicians session. We hope you found it as aspiring as we have and took home some fun ideas to help support your child’s maths skills.

We started our 3D and Collage unit by exploring how we can create the illusion of motion by layering coloured card behind a picture of a moving person. We carefully selected colours that we thought would create the illusion and were very precise with our cutting and sticking!

Today we joined a Lyfta Live lesson where we met Simon from Tanzania. He is a farmer who used traditional farming methods where crops grow closely to each other. This helps to make the soil rich and promote biodiversity.
