HIS HOLINESS POPE FRANCIS

All of us at St Nicholas Academy are deeply saddened by the death of His Holiness Pope Francis. We pray for the repose of his soul.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

This week, we started our preparation for the Sacrament of Communion.
Father Derek held his first session for the children.

This week marked a very special time in the Christian Calendar and Liturgical year... Lent!

This begins on Ash Wednesday and during the day, Father Derek came and gave Ashes to the children. 'Repent and Believe in the Gospel.'

World Book Day 2025 - Just a small selection but look out for more!

Year 3 went to Sefton park for the afternoon, to celebrate being the class with the best attendance of
Autumn term 2.

Children had a great time and enjoyed a nice warm hot chocolate on a cold winters afternoon. ☕️🌟🌟🌟
