Intelliños Language Academy was established in 2012 to provide high quality, outstanding language tuition to children in the Northwest of England. Based on our own personal experience, we have first hand knowledge of the remarkable impact that learning a second language can have on children, and the multiple benefits that are associated with it. We believe that learning a foreign language is not j

ust a matter of developing competence in one or more languages. It is also about understanding language and identity, about developing an international outlook, and about beginning to experience different cultures. We follow a series of structured programmes in Spanish, French, Italian and German, tailored to deliver the Key Stage 1 & 2 Framework for Languages to 4-11 year olds, using innovative, stimulating material designed to fascinate and bring language to life. Our experienced tutors are passionate about what they do, and create a safe yet stimulating environment, where the language they speak is brought to life through energetic games, memorable songs and captivating story-telling. Class sizes are kept to a maximum of nine, to achieve that perfect balance of opportunities for lots of interaction with children of a similar age, and quality one-to-one teaching time

What a difference a year makes, when this week's Super Estrella Annie started, she wasn't even five and was only just learning to write......no problem now, probably the neatest writing for a five year old I have seen!! Max won the award for Super Estrella for the boys for being the only one to remember a rule we did last week. Well done to Annie and Max.

Staying with the healthy theme that we started last week, tonight we are learning about fruit (with a little quiz of old stuff thrown in as well)

We have horse riders, dancers, footballers and swimmers! Super Estrella for the ladies went to Isabella for some really good sentences and in the boys' class, Oliver was Super Estrella for some quick thinking.

The girls are definitely getting their with the ability to rrrrrroll the letter "r" and the boys who are learning French in school are beginning to spot some language patterns and similarity of words. Oh and they all like haribos!!
