Honest, Informed Investment
Liverpool is a very buoyant market at the moment, with much outside investment, and that means that people may end up over paying or make bad buying decisions.
As a property sourcer myself, I see hundreds of ‘deals’ going round that shock me: Houses that are in terrible states of disrepair being sold on Rent 2 Rent contracts, properties that are split into separate flats with no planning permission being sold as mortgageable and turn-key solutions that are worth 20% less than they are being advertised for. Investors are being told they should create high-end boutique HMOs in areas that won’t command more than £75pppw, and they should ‘break the glass ceiling’ when the reality is that the demand just simply isn’t there.
I founded Inside Liverpool to dispel some of these myths, to stop investors getting conned and to provide help and support to those looking to get into the Liverpool property market. My background in teaching means that I am not a sales person, I am an educator. And so, Inside Liverpool was born.
