I've always been a fan of this programme. It's always interesting, but sometimes it gives me insight into a concept that I come across frequently whilst editing, but that my previous experience and education didn't cover.
Bayesian statistics may bore many... not this girl! I'm actually really excited to find out what it's all about!

Looking at WHO data today regarding the prevalence of stunting (stunted growth in children under 5) globally.
Q. Which three countries have the highest rate of stunting?
So sorghum is a cereal crop (I got that much from the abstract lol).
It grows in tropical climates (I wonder why we don't eat it over here - maybe it has a short shelf-life compared to rice) but is also drought tolerant (ah, it all becomes clear).
As well as being a foodstuff, it is also used as animal feed and as fuel.
As a foodstuff, it is gluten-free (expect it on your supermarket shelves soon, folks). It also has high levels of protein, fibre, and antioxidants (hmmm, I wonder where I can get some?)

Today I'm editing a paper about using coal gangue (leftover bits after coal purification) in garden compost... which has led me to researching the coal production process... (mainly cos I needed to know what coal gangue was😆)
I love how there's an infographic for everything these days though 🤣 Makes my job SO much easier!
