As we come to the end of the winter months we are going to take another look back at one of our past pupils.

This time it is the turn of Chilli McKinney, our very own Miss McKinney's daughter!

Chilli left Mendell in 2018 and has since gone on to complete her GCSE's and qualify as a hair and beauty artist. She is currently living and working in Spain. We are proud of how far you have come Chilli and have now doubt you will continue to go from strength to strength! The independence and resilience you have shown in moving to another country to live and work is outstanding!

We are extremely proud of each and every child that goes through their education journey with us and we love to hear what ex-pupils are up to now and what they have gone on to achieve after primary school. We hope this helps to inspire our current pupils also with their future aspirations.

Get your bike checked for free!

Date for the diary:
A fantastic opportunity to get those bikes checked over and ensure they are safe to ride, especially coming up to the lighter nights and sunnier days (hopefully!). Bike marking too from Merseyside Police - a fantastic tool in helping to return any lost or stolen bikes!
To guarantee a bike service, please scan the QR code on the attached flyer or visit DrBikeECP.eventbrite.co.uk. Alternatively, they will have limited space for walk ups so you can turn up during 10am - 2pm

These two young super stars have been inspired by our author visits (especially Michael Rosen) this week and last week. They have started to write their own book; I can’t wait to read ‘The Magic Potion’ 🧪 and the adventures of the wise old frog 🐸 ❤️🩶 💙🩵💛

James left Mendell in 2010 and has since gone on to experience different career paths and now runs his own cleaning company! We are proud of how far you have come James and the challenges you once faced we hope we were able to help you overcome them in some way.

5 stars in last week's environmental health inspection for our school kitchen!

Our fantastic kitchen team have done us proud! 🤩 We are so lucky to have such a dedicated duo providing our children’s lunches every day.

The new lunch menu is going down a storm too! The children have been voting each day with an overwhelming number of smiley faces enjoying the new options each day! 😊
