A fantastic effort from our Netball Team yesterday in a hard fought 24 - 30 game against league leaders Shooting Stars 💪🏐

The team showed great determination, teamwork and spirit throughout, pushing the top side all the way!

What a fantastic result for our Netball Team! 🏐 They delivered an outstanding performance this week, securing a brilliant 37-11 victory over Penketh Panthers Cougars in their latest league fixture.

This week, students who are part of our Tomorrow’s Scientists Programme took part in a fantastic presentation evening where they discussed the findings of their research projects to an audience at the Cronton Playhouse.

Working in small groups throughout the year, the future scientists completed research projects which discussed topics including; the effects of commercial vs natural antibiotics, the challenges of treating glioblastoma, the effect of beverages on tooth enamel, and quality testing local water sources.

The evening was a huge success, with students confidently presenting their research and demonstrating the creativity, teamwork, and scientific skills they have developed at college. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved!

The team put in an outstanding performance last week, securing a superb 25-19 victory over Emeralds in their league fixture.

From the first whistle to the final score, the squad showed incredible teamwork, determination, and energy on the court.

Our students had an amazing day at the University of Lancashire, exploring forensic flats, making decisions in the Hydra lab, and diving into an engaging lecture on Dr Google.
