Hi all in 2013 as you probably all know I was diagnosed with myxoid liposarcoma, I underwent 5 weeks radiotherapy at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and then underwent removal of the tumour along with my full hamstring muscle in my left thigh and my left lateral muscle. Whilst this was a major blow for me in my life and career I made a decision that I would record it all via a video diary in the hope that it would help other Sarcoma patients and anyone going through Cancer and its treatments. I also feel that as well as the amazing medical team that I was provided with through the NHS, that keeping myself physically fit helped immensely with my mental stability in dealing with this dreadful illness. I hope my diaries inspire others and more than anything help other people in their own journeys to remain positive and fight back against Sarcoma.
