The nursery is celebrating 10 years of adventures and achievements; it was crowned NDNA UK Nursery of The Year 2011 and has won numerous national awards. Awarded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas four times consecutively by Ofsted, who described it as ‘an inspirational outside play space’ where ‘chil

dren are curious, creative, highly motivated and confident learners.’ We have developed a Natural Play philosophy and approach to learning outdoors with inspirational mentor Jan White.

We’ve had some lovely collaborations in our mud kitchens this week, the children have really embraced all different natural resources from around the garden to fulfil their recipes. The staff have really enjoyed listening to them all sharing their wonderful ideas together 🌷 🍃

Nature group have had a lovely morning out in the sunshine. We have been noticing natural changes in the environment, looking at the beautiful colours and exploring different smells. With all of this combined, the children enjoyed making blossom perfume through water play 🌸 🍃
