We love this time of year…. The conkers are blowing off the trees in the garden which gives so much for us to explore, talk about and use our imagination with.
Ellie helped everyone search for conkers yesterday and then we looked and talked about their shape, texture and sizes. Then everyone decided to use the new mud kitchen to make a conker banquet 🥰🥰🥰

We have a new resident in the just like home garden!!

I came across this today at Chester food market… how many children were left in buggy’s I wonder 😂😂

What a week!!! We’ve had four little ones have birthdays a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th so we had one big cake to celebrate - everyone getting to blow out their own candles. Then finishing the week off with a princess dress up glitter party before we break up this afternoon for our holidays.
Looking forward to the summer holidays starting in two weeks time xx

The partridge hen has laid her eggs in the garden the last few days. Can’t wait to show our little ones tomorrow morning and start a topic on birds and nests

A rather impromptu trip to the beach last Friday. A few of our little ones were on holiday so we managed to get a little trip out. Early start with some sandcastle building, mark making in the sand and debating the Anthony gormley statues followed by a picnic lunch and home before the day got too hot. We all loved every minute of it

Today we had great delight in introducing many of our little ones to snow for the first time… snowball fight anyone!!

In honour of St David’s day - after a walk in the garden looking at some early daffodils we came back and made our own abstract daffodil paintings 🥰🥰
