Our Lady Star of the Sea

We have loved welcoming all children back to school over the last several days but a very warm welcome to our new Nursery children, our new Reception children and their families. Our Nursery is led by a qualified teacher and just a reminder that we do have spaces available. We take the children from the September after they turn three. Please contact Mrs Carrington in the school office for more details.

A brilliant effort from our footballers yesterday morning. They played in the Premier League Primary Stars Tournament, and whilst neither team won, they both played exceptionally well and represented our school brilliantly.

They also got to meet Liverpool Legend Steven Wright. ⚽️

Our final fixture of the season saw us play against Christchurch in a friendly. The boys team won 7-3 and the girls won 2-1. Congratulations all! ⚽️

A huge congratulations to our Year 5 girls and our Year 4 boys who played against Childer Thornton in a friendly this evening. Both teams won 🙌 Let’s hope England do the same on Sunday night 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

All currents pupils, parents and wider families of current pupils; all prospective pupils and their families; and teaching staff from near or far are welcome to come and see some of the extraordinary art that our pupils have been working on this year.

Our Year 4 and Year 5 children had a great time playing against Woodlands Primary School in a friendly on Friday night ⚽️

This afternoon, our Gold Award Winners were celebrated. They had all received 100 dojo points or more during the summer 1 half term and this afternoon, we took them for a game of crazy golf at Cheshire Oaks Paradise Island Golf Course 🏌️‍♂️⛳️ There were lots of holes in ones and a great time was had by all! A huge thank you, children, for your efforts this last half term 🥇
