A trio of Edwardian buildings guards Pier Head. These attractions include the Royal Liver Building, Cunard Building, and Port of Liverpool Building. Each has a prominent feature that makes it shine. You can’t possibly miss seeing the Royal Liver Building. On its head is the symbol of Liverpool – the 5.5-metre copper Liver Bird seemingly looking over everything and everyone.

Meanwhile, the middle Cunard Building is designed like an Italian palazzo. It used to be the head office for the Cunard Steamship Line.
