Congratulations to all of our students who got results last week! Everyone got fantastic grades that were well deserved from the efforts put in through tuition sessions and beyond! We will miss those young people who are now finishing with us but wish you every success moving forward!

We have been social media quiet whilst being full-on with lots of clients over the last few months. Spaces opening up for maths tuition over the next few weeks. England and Northern Ireland: the key information will be how pupils are ranked by their school and results in their schools and colleges in previous years.

Plus a "triple lock" with the highest grade out of the estimated grade, an autumn written exam or a mock exam, dependent on a successful appeal through a school

Scotland has switched to using teachers' predicted grades

Some great work on Enlargement today. It can be a confusing concept that enlarging a shape makes it smaller with a fractional scale factor. Our students picked it up in no time!

Estimating the Mean by one of our excellent students.

I use a remixed version of - "What do you mean" to teach this.

"Estimate the mean.. Whooaa,
First you find the midpoint,
Times it by frequency,
Estimate the mean.. Whooaa.
Then you add them all up,
Divide by Sum Frequency
Estimate the mean"
