Hi, I’m Ellie — founder & owner of Songbird Studios. 🎶

I opened Songbird 8 years ago with a clear vision: to teach people how to sing safely and efficiently, while also building confidence, self-esteem, and supporting mental wellbeing.

Since then, Songbird has gone from strength to strength, now offering bespoke 1–1 lessons in singing, acting, piano, guitar, and music theory — all tailored to each individual.

Our team is made up of fully qualified professionals, with extensive experience in both performance and education, ensuring the highest standard of training for every student.

My own professional training began at Liverpool Theatre School and Merseyside Dance & Drama Centre, where I achieved distinctions across all ISTD Ballet, Tap, Modern, ISTD Teaching, and LAMDA. I then went on to perform in professional productions and tours across the UK for several years.

In 2017, I gained my Certificate in Education in Music and Performing Arts, and have since achieved Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status, Estill Voice Training certification, and Vocal Health First Aid certification.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching hundreds of children and adults to sing with confidence, with students achieving a 100% merit and distinction rate in LAMDA exams.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported Songbird Studios on this journey so far — and I’m so excited to continue nurturing and training future talent. ✨
