KS1 had a wonderful time visiting the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall last week and enjoyed hearing the full live orchestra.

We've had lots of fun celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee today.

Year 3 have been reading Manfish, the story of Jacques Cousteau and we had a very special visitor on Friday. Miss Byrne's dad Ken came in to show us his diving and photography equipment and explain how it all works. He also shared lots of his incredible photos from the many diving trips he's been on including some pictures of Miss Byrne! We learnt an awful lot about scuba diving and the many incredible creatures that live beneath the waves. Thanks Ken!

We are so excited to have our new classrooms completed for our Y2s to move into. We would like to say a huge thank you to Gary, our builder, and his team for all of their hard work over the last few months.

Key Stage 1 had a fantastic day yesterday during our Animals Take Over visit. The children had the opportunity to handle and stroke a selection of animals including a python, a tree frog and a hedgehog.
