Yew Tree Kids Club

Having moved upstairs last week there has been a lot of change but the happy children is one thing that has stayed the same. Main focus this week has been keeping cool in the sun so water play has been a win with all the children. One of our sessions in the shade was enjoyed by all 🥰

Good morning everyone. Just a few things.

Firstly we hope you have all had a lovely half term and for those who attended holiday club it was amazing to see you on our other site.

We have moved rooms within the school over the half term and are now based upstairs. This means it is going to take a little longer to answer the bell. So I am going to ask for patience when you arrive to collect your child as I have 2 sets of stairs to now contend with, if you could pop a text when you are a few minutes away before you buzz to get in that would be appreciated.

MOST IMPORTANTLY with the heat being over 20° well into the afternoon please ensure your child comes with a cap and drinks bottle as we are outside. Suncream will be available ìn club but we will apply your own if provided.

We’re hiring September Start (with a weeks training in august) must have relevant experience term time only post with holiday club hours available at our other sites above minimum wage. Closing date 23rd June 2023

What a lovely week this week. Have had a taste box from countries all over the world, dodge ball, spider plants, sunflower plants, had lots of outside play, litter picking eco warriors and best part of the week the try not to laugh challenge . 🥰

Please note.

After school will be on as normal on Thursday !!!

The early years are closed as that part of the school is being used as a polling station.

This does not effect the running of the afterschool as we are in a different part of the building.

Because of the change please can you call the club phone when you arrive so I can have your children brought out and handed over.

Lovely week out in the fresh air every day. The space we have is amazing and is enjoyed every day. Lots of sunshine, running and gardening with a picnic out and preparing to grow some food too. Hope all our families have a lovely weekend 🥰

Please note. I have text all parents tonight but in case anyone hasn't had seen it.

School sent a text to all parents this week postponing all after school clubs until further notice. This text was for the extra curricular activities that run most days at the school run by the school that you have to book onto.

This does not effect our provision. We will never message through school if we for whatever reason needed to cancel our service. Our after school will run as normal Monday to Friday 3pm-5.50pm.
