I think parents need to hear this.

It's hard looking after children with special needs, who are neurodivergent, who are gifted etc. and the recognition, support and understanding isn't always there.

Calling all schools!

Have you got children and young people aged 8 to 25 in need of alternative provision support? Are you fed up with waiting lists? Well, we're here to help!

We are a newly opened, WSCC approved Independent Alternative Provision with immediate availability.

Helping children and young people who struggle with mainstream education, as well as providing exciting opportunities for those who are home educated. We provide a calm, individually tailored, relationship-led learning experience, using water, nature and hands-on experiences instead of classrooms.

At Abyss Scuba School, children and young people take part in:

🏖️ Beach walks at Littlehampton West Beach
🐚 Rock pooling & coastal exploration
🌿 Nature walks & environmental learning
🧭 Navigation, teamwork & confidence-building activities

Our Alternative Provision supports students who may find mainstream education overwhelming or need a more hands-on, therapeutic approach to learning. We welcome:

Young people requiring alternative or part-time education pathways

Individuals experiencing anxiety, low confidence, or school-based trauma

Students who benefit from outdoor, sensory-based, and experiential learning
