Willow class had their first forest school session today and what a lot of fun they had. They even found a frog which caused a lot of excitement and conversation!

Welcome to Willow Class! 🌳✨ Our newest nursery and reception starters had a fantastic first day today, along with our year 1's — settling in beautifully, making new friends, and exploring their new classroom. What a lovely start to the year! We are so excited for the year ahead!

It is with a very heavy heart that we share the news that our much-loved Mr Barnes-Moran will be leaving Stansfield Hall Primary School.

Mr Barnes-Moran has been a hugely valued and much-loved member of our school community, and we know that this news will be met with great sadness by our children, families and the wider community. He has given so much to our school over the years, bringing kindness, dedication, warmth and plenty of laughter along the way. He has made a lasting difference to so many children and will be missed more than words can say.

Mr Barnes-Moran has made the personal decision to leave education and begin a new chapter in his life. Although we are incredibly sad to see him go, we are so pleased that he is taking this opportunity to pursue something new and wish him every happiness and success for the future.

Thank you, Mr Barnes-Moran, for everything you have given to our school and our community. You will always be a very special part of the Stansfield Hall family, and we know our whole community will join us in wishing you all the very best for the next chapter.

As a result of Mr Barnes-Moran’s departure, our Governors are now seeking to appoint a new School Business Manager to join our wonderful school community.

Today all of our Stansfield family went up to St James’ Church for the Year 6 leavers service. We shared memories, sang loud and proud, prayed and Year 6 received their holding crosses. It was lovely to have parents joining us on this special occasion too. We also said a fond farewell to Rev Ruth who led her final service with us. We thank her wholeheartedly for her dedicated service to our school. ✝️
