That saying...it takes a village... well this is our village.

When James set out to build JMK, he had one mission, to give the opportunity to young and ambitious talent to learn from his knowledge and experience. Bringing Mark on board enabled the team to not only learn about the complexities of managing finances efficiently, but also mortgages making this dream team the full package.

As I walk into my last meeting on a busy Monday at JMK, I wanted to reflect on everything the team has achieved in the last couple of weeks.

👩🏼‍💼 We welcomed a new member of the team. Ruby's training is well and truly underway!
🏖️ The admin team continued the highest level of support for our clients while some of the advisors took a well earned break
👩🏼‍💼 The advisor team came back with recharged batteries and got stuck straight into catching up with clients
👊🏼 We've worked on a huge internal project, pulling it together in a very short space of time

It's times like this that you really have to trust the team around you. I'm very fortunate that we have a team that has made trusting so easy.

We have a few new faces in the office since we last did a meet the team so we thought it would be a good idea to reintroduce ourselves...

Today we reintroduce the boss, Mr. JMK himself... James Kingswood 👨🏼‍💼

James has been a qualified advisor with St. James’s Place for 12 years, starting originally at a small practice, before moving to a larger one as a Senior Wealth Advisor.

But JMK Wealth Management was always the plan, and in 2021, it became a reality and he opened his own practice.

Today we celebrate 2 years of Sophie!!

Starting with us as an apprentice administrator, she spent the first 18 months with us working towards obtaining her qualification, which she passed with flying colours.

Since then Soph has dived back into education and is now an apprentice Paraplanner.

We are so proud of how far she has come, and we couldn’t imagine the office without her!

Well done Sophie, and happy 2 years at JMK ⭐️🎉

When Lisa brought in the Pizza 🍕

The relationships we make with the people we work with ensure we are able to pull together the best offers for our clients.

Those relationships are often formed over the many phone calls, emails and occasional in person meetings.

Last week, Lisa Paxton from Hinckley & Rugby Building Society came to meet Mark to discuss some ongoing cases & some updates, treating the team to pizza lunch.

Thank you Lisa for a great meeting, a good catch up, and leaving us with full bellies!
