🎉 Busy Fingers Family Disco – This Weekend! 🎉
2pm – 4pm
at Little Downham Village Hall

Please come along and join us for an afternoon of dancing and fun. Bring siblings, friends, cousins, neighbours...everyone is welcome to enjoy the party atmosphere. (Suitable for children up to the age of 12).

Tickets are £5 per child, and adults go free.
There will also be a licensed bar available for grown‑ups.

Tickets are available via the QR code on the poster, but you can also pay on the door by cash or card if you prefer.

We are excited to share some of the wonderful developments that have taken place in our preschool since welcoming our new manager in January. The team has been working hard to refresh and enhance our learning environments, and the children have been thoroughly enjoying the changes.

One of our biggest updates is the creation of a fantastic new quarry area. This space gives the children opportunities to dig, explore, and play with a variety of stones. It has quickly become a favourite spot for imaginative play and hands‑on learning.

In addition to this, we have developed a mini forest‑school area, designed to offer rich outdoor learning experiences using natural materials and loose parts. The children have loved building dens, making mud pies, and weighing rocks, blocks, and pine cones. They’ve also enjoyed creating bridges, balancing on beams, and exploring the environment freely. It has been wonderful to see their confidence, creativity, and teamwork grow in this space.

We look forward to continuing to develop our outdoor provision and creating even more opportunities for the children to learn, explore, and thrive.

🎉 We’re excited to announce our Family Disco! 🎉

Join us on Saturday 9th May at Little Downham Village Hall for a fun‑filled family event!
All children and their siblings are welcome, and the disco is open to all children up to 12 years old. Ask your older children to bring their friends along with them!

Tickets are just £5 per child, and each child will receive a free glow stick to help light up the dance floor.
Parents and accompanying adults can come along free of charge, so it’s the perfect family afternoon out.

There will also be a licensed bar for adults, plus the chance to buy sweets and other fun treats for the children.

Please spread the word, bring your children and their friends, and get ready for an amazing afternoon of music, dancing and memories. We can’t wait to see everyone there... it’s going to be an afternoon the children will remember!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Christmas Fete so special yesterday. We raised an amazing net profit £625.49 for the preschool, to buy new toys and equipment. Thank you to everyone who contributed a raffle prize, ran a stall, baked cakes, attended or purchased tickets. Also not forgetting Father Christmas himself! Your contributions are very much valued and make the event a magical time for our children 👏. Hopefully the winners have now heard from me! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas 🎅🎄🎁

Today's the day! Come and join us from 1pm for Christmas cheer! We've got an epic mystery Tombola, crafting and games, glitter hair braiding and face painting, homemade cakes, plus the big man in red has cleared a space in his busy schedule to be with us!!! The tree is up, thank you LittleDownham Christmas Trees for the special delivery yesterday, and not forgetting our highly anticipated raffle draw at 3. 45pm. So come on, and get those last tickets. 📢Tomorrow is the last day for Raffle Tickets, Snowman Soup and Reindeer Food ahead of the big day on Saturday.

I will be at Busy Fingers Preschool at 3pm with my little helper, moving shortly thereafter to Downham Feoffees Primary Academy, where we'll be until 3.30pm.

Last minute tickets can be purchased at Saturday's event from 1pm but you'll need to be quick. Draw takes place at 3.45pm! We hope to see as many of you there as possible for our tombola, face painting and hair braiding, games, crafting and a special appearance from the big man in red himself! 🎅. All proceeds for our charity run preschool. Thank you! ❤️❄️🎄☃️

What will you win at our Mystery Tombola on Saturday?? Our Christmas fete is just days away! A huge thank you to Busy Fingers well wisher, Gill Bell, who has handmade and donated all these beautiful, festive boxes, which are filled with different prizes.

Remember Snowman Soup and Reindeer Food is back tomorrow! The last tickets for the raffle are going fast, get them now, and Santa himself has cleared a space to join us on Saturday too!! 📢Last call for RAFFLE TICKETS 📢

The Busy Fingers Preschool Christmas fete is just over 1 week away!

It's back! Also on sale next week to keep you warm is our Snowman soup, plus our Reindeer Food.

Grab your tickets and snacks at Busy Fingers next week at 3pm or I will be selling outside Downham Feoffees Primary Academy on Thursday 27th at 3pm too.
