We hope that everyone stayed warm yesterday. School is open as usual today although as you can imagine, the pavement outside school is very icy. Please take care travelling to school.

After further assessment and consideration for the safety of parents, pupils and staff we have taken the decision to close school today due to the snow.

We make every effort to stay open for the community but for the safety of everyone we are unable to open today.

Please stay safe and enjoy the snow if you are able. Many thanks for your understanding in this matter.

Thank you to the PTA for putting on the Summer Fair today after school and thank you to everyone who could come and support. There are a small number of cakes left which we will be selling for 50p after school tomorrow.

Due to the heavy rain and predicted thunder, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone sports day for safety reasons. We have an alternative date of Monday 22nd July at the same time. The field is currently extremely muddy and it will be too risky to run the events today. Thank-you for your understanding.

The children enjoyed preparing fruit crumble in cooking club, they then took it home to cook and enjoy last night!
It was our last cooking/gardening club yesterday, we've really enjoyed running the club for the term and we can't believe how wonderful the wild tribe area looks, the children have put in so much effort and hard work to make it fantastic!!

Yesterday we welcomed our new reception children. Here they are with their book bags, kindly funded by the PTA.

We are so proud of the Year 6 children who challenged themselves and their fears this week. They supported each other brilliantly and made memories that will last a lifetime. I’m also sure that they will sleep well tonight!
