🗞️ 1 or 7 on Test Paper Two🗞️

There was bit of an issue with a maths question around temperature and it had a digital graph but a number of children got stuck wondering if the number they had to work with was a 1 or a 7. It was like the digital one in the picture below (albeit I appreciate that’s a time readout) and that flick across the top seemed to cause the confusion.

A number of parents reported this issue and the good news is that SEAG have contacted GL and instructed that the child should be awarded the mark if they used either a 1 or a 7 in their computation because they could obviously do the maths but just had difficulty reading the question. It was one of the free-style answers so not marked by a computer. 👍

I hope this settles some nerves as I’ve had a lot of messages about this. 🤞
