We hope you all had a wonderful Easter break and we can’t wait to see you all again over the course of this week. Let’s smash another term! 💪😃

A reminder that we are CLOSED for our Easter holidays until Sunday, 12th April in both our Lisburn and Dunmurry schools. All lessons, group classes and rehearsals recommence on Monday, 13th April 🤘🎶

After much deliberation, we have decided that The Musician Academy (Lisburn and Dunmurry) will remain OPEN today. Some of our teachers will, however, be absent - students affected have been contacted. If you have not been contacted, your lesson will still be on. Please travel safely, and if there are any issues, please do not hesitate to let us know and we will endeavour to help in any way we can 🎶☔️

We are OPEN as normal today - please take care on your journey to your lesson, group class or rehearsal given the current travel conditions. We can’t wait to see you all later! 😊🎶

🎄LAST WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS BREAK🎄

Firstly, a reminder that this week is our last week of teaching before we close for our Christmas break. All lessons, group classes and rehearsals will be on as usual in both our Lisburn and Dunmurry schools until this Saturday, 20th December. We will then close from 22nd December until 4th January, with business fully recommencing on Monday, 5th January 2026.

Secondly, a huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you that showed up to our Christmas Showcase last week! It was a smashing success (with minimal hitches, thankfully 🤣) with excellent performances from beginning to end. We are exceptionally proud of everyone that performed and are so grateful to our audience members who supported and cheered them on from beginning to end. Videos to follow! 🎶✨

We are delighted to be hosting our Christmas Showcase once again on 11th December in St Patrick’s Parochial Hall, Lisburn, at 7pm!

Our Christmas Showcase is always a huge event in our calendar and a fantastic evening of entertainment by our wonderful students who have worked so very hard this year (we are extra excited for this one in particular given the fact that we were unable to run our annual summer showcase due to Ryan and Jordan welcoming their second child last June!). We would urge as many of you as possible to attend and show your support for the amazing community of musicians that has blossomed from both our Lisburn and Dunmurry schools! 🎶

It was a clean sweep on Friday night for TMA at the Connected Minds Youth Committee ‘Lisburn’s Got Talent’ competition, as the top three spots were won by our very own homegrown talent! 👏

We were absolutely delighted to hear that Holly, current singing student, won the competition with her original song, ‘Love Me (Sometimes)’, that she wrote as part of our Songwriting 101 workshop in the summer 2024. Former singing student turned TMA singing teacher, Marissa, placed runner-up for her rendition of ‘Holding Out For a Hero’, as did our singing and piano student, Alisha, for her performance of ‘Gimme Gimme’ from Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Such well deserved achievements that are undoubtedly the result of self-discipline, determination, passion and pure love of music. We are so incredibly proud of each of you and it is truly our pleasure to watch you grow and improve with each passing week. We are so delighted to see your hard work recognised and celebrated at a wider community level. Congratulations! ❤️🎶
