As I have had quite a few new followers recently, I just thought I’d introduce myself before Sunday’s session so here it goes!

Hi, I’m Shannon, the face behind The Little Sensory Library 👋

I’m a teacher, a proud boy mum, and an avid reader who’s rarely far from a good book. I’m also a big fan of chamomile tea, fresh air, and getting outdoors whenever I can — walks, nature, and a little calm go a long way with me.

I started The Little Sensory Library because I’m passionate about encouraging little people to read! My little boy is never far from a book like me and it brings me so much joy to see other tiny people connecting with books, whether that’s through our messy play sessions, stay & play sessions, interactive story sessions, book bags (coming soon!) or loan bags. Reading certainly isn’t just about sitting with a book but actively engaging with the tale, something we hope to deliver through our sessions.

🐣Our egg-cellent Easter gifts are available to pre-order for just £5! Each gift includes a velvet carrot pouch, Easter themed wooden maraca and wooden egg shaker. Patterns on the egg shakers and maracas may vary but they are all Easter colours. Where possible, I will try to meet your colour/pattern preferences. See the comments for images of just a few gift sets sent last year.

These sold out ridiculously quickly last year so this year I have decided to take pre-orders to avoid any disappointment. Message us to pre-order yours for just £5!

Collection is from Birchwood, Lincoln or delivery can be arranged if within 1 mile of Birchwood. These can also be posted for an additional £2.65.
