The two Year UAL Level 3 course in music will provide you with the skills and knowledge to progress into higher education or the music business. You will be based in our own dedicated performance space which has a 180 seater theatre, dressing rooms, dance studios, rehearsal rooms, MAC sui
te and technical theatre workshop. The emphasis in Year 1 is focused on building your musical skills & live performance, whilst Year 2 is designed to build on these skills & techniques to enable you to conduct your own recording projects & gigs. Throughout the course you will have an opportunity to develop your skills in different musical genres and settings. The UAL music course is designed to suit a wide range of musicians from drummers and guitarists, to vocalists and brass players. You will learn about the history of popular music, the music industry, music theory and music production, whilst being encouraged to compose and perform in genres of your choosing. The Lincoln College music course has a very high acceptance rate into music colleges such as BIMM, Goldsmiths & Leeds College of Music, which validates our hard working, yet exciting and creative ethos. Past students are currently pursuing a multitude of careers including session work, touring, journalism & production. Throughout your two years of study you will be taught by experienced music professionals who are all involved with the music industry at large as producers, performers, composers & session musicians.
