Lincoln Minster Sixth Form

Last week, we hosted our Sixth Form Options Fair, which allowed pupils to ask questions, explore career prospects, and enjoy some sweet treats as well! We are always thrilled to support our pupils on the road to achieving their full potential, whilst helping them choose subjects where they will truly thrive.

Some of our Economics and Business students attended a whole-day workshop this week at the Department for Business and Trade in Whitehall.

They learned about the role of the civil service and possible career opportunities, alongside insights into how a government balances priorities and finance through policy activities and challenges. They ended the day with a tour of the historic Old Admiralty Building, going into the Churchill Room, finding out about Operation Mincemeat and its role in World War 2, and seeing Ian Fleming's office.

Good Luck to our Year 11 students receiving their GCSE results today. We look forward to you moving up into our Sixth Form and starting your next journey very soon.

Good Luck to all our Year 13s getting their A-Level results tomorrow and also to the Year 12s getting their module results for Criminology and Business.

Teachers will be in school tomorrow and we look forward to celebrating and catching up with you all about the fabulous summers you’ve had so far.

However, before tomorrow we all need to wish our fabulous Head of Careers, Miss Wills, a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We hope you have a wonderful day celebrating. 🎉 🎂 🎁
