Yesterday was a busy day at school, and in enjoying the fun and performances I forgot . But that's OK, we all make mistakes or have accidents, how we manage that situation is what's important.
We can choose to learn from it, or make the necessary change and then move on, or we can let the negative impact or feelings build and grow inside us until they are overwhelming and become unmanageable.
Yesterday, I got caught up in the moment , it was fun, the children were amazing and I forgot to post. So, I'm accepting it, and posting today instead.
Christmas is busy, it's chaotic, it's emotional, it's exhausting, it's expensive, it's exciting, it's joyful, it's lonely, it's wonderful. Christmas is a multitude of things, but the only things it needs to be are the things that are important to you.
🎄⭐️ Don’t forget all classes still have their enterprise sales in school! Just £1 each which can be given to the class teacher - all proceeds go to Friends of School. 🎄⭐️
A massive well done to all of the children for their amazing performances over the last two days! A big shout out to all the staff as well - so much work goes into each one. Thank you also to Sarah, one of our Governors, for being part of our KS2 performance and to the parents, grandparents and everyone else who came to watch and support. Happy Christmas 🎄

Christmas is fast approaching. Along with many other significant days across the year, Christmas can be a very difficult time for those experiencing grief or loss, especially if it is the first one without their loved one. Even when your heart is breaking, it is ok to have moments of joy and laughter. Feeling glimpses of happiness is not a betrayal or act of disloyalty, and certainly does not mean you did not care, it simply means you are human and you are healing. Be kind to yourself x 🥰

It's that time of year again when coughs, colds, bugs and flu are all around us, and many of us over the last few weeks have succumbed to one lurgy or another.
Having good health is a combination of good physical, emotional and mental health.
Having poorly physical health affects our emotional health, and vice versa.
Prioritising your emotional and mental health, is not a weakness, nor shameful nor something to feel guilty about. It is an essential part of keeping you healthy.
After all, there is only one perfectly formed, superbly individual, fantasticly special you, so let's look after it and treat it with the care and kindness it deserves. 🥰

Congratulations to all the children who received certificates today for showing
