✨The CCEA GCSE course is designed to build on your knowledge the higher the module you sit.

✨Each module is an accumulation of the previous modules

✨ This means the module you sit will also include the material covered in the previous modules!!

✨ The module you sit (M1-M4 in year 11 & M5-M8 in year 12) will determine the complexity you study each topic at

For example,
Sitting the M4 paper will mean you will need to know all the material from M1-M3 also.

The CCEA GCSE Maths course is split into 3 exam papers.

1️⃣
✨Most sit the first paper in Year 11.
✨You can sit from M1-M4 depending on your mathematical ability.
✨The paper is 1 hour 45 mins and you can use your calculator🤩

2️⃣&3️⃣
✨Sat in year 12 papers 2 & 3 (sometimes referred to as ‘completion papers’) range from M5-M6.
✨Both papers are sat together.
✨The 1st paper is non-calculator and the 2nd is calculator.
✨Each paper is 1 hour long.

You will get a grade for each paper & then a final grade will be awarded based off your total mark.
