Every piece tells a story, from Fair Isle patterns to coastal inspired designs, hand crafted with heart, tradition, and a modern twist. Textile designer living and working in Whalsay Shetland. Graduated in 2009 from Shetland College with a degree in Contemporary Textiles, before graduating with honours degree in Design for Textiles from Heriot-Watt School of Textiles in 2011. Specialising in illustrated designs for interiors. Inspired by nostalgic story’s from my Shetland home heritage.

They are a by product from my lampshade fabric, organic sateen fabric and hand made, no 2 scrunchies will ever be the same. Also perfect for curly hair tested by myself and my daughter 🥰👩‍🦱

Inspired by our local eela competition, when you go off in your peerie (small) boats to see who can catch the most fish, the one time I was in the competition I only caught 1 fish and got the boobie prize haha.

I have always love lights and lamps, ever since I was peerie and I even mind having the ufo lamp, a disco ball light, those bubble lamps and I still have my pink rocket lava lamp 🩷 all those 90/00s fun lamps novelty lights were amazing, did you have any of those?
