Friday Fiesta
We've been having a blast at school every week with our Friday Fiestas! At Alde Valley, we love ending the week with a bit of fun. While it is a great way to reward our students who attend school all week long, it also creates a real buzz and positive atmosphere to take us into the weekend. Over the last three weeks, students have filled the halls with music in karaoke, been on the edge of their seats at bingo, and competed in a thrilling cup-stacking competition. This Friday Fiesta we will have a very spooky and very fun Halloween scavenger hunt with over 45 prizes to be won!

What a fantastic week celebrating European Day of Languages at Alde Valley Academy🌍✨
Here is a look at what our school community got up to:
• 🍰 The Great Languages Bake Off: Students showed off incredible creativity with their cakes, raising £140 for Macmillan Cancer Support at lunchtime! Winners to be announced next week!
• 🌮 International Lunch Menu: Our fabulous catering team cooked up delicious European dishes that were a huge hit across all year groups.
• ✈️ Inspiring Assemblies: Students explored the personal and career opportunities that travel and studying abroad can bring.
• 🗣️ Classroom & Tutor Time Fun: Classes tackled quizzes guessing which teachers were speaking foreign languages, and greeted staff in a diverse range of world languages.
A massive thank you to all the students, parents, and staff who supported these celebrations and made the week such a success! 🌟
