Last day of term for me before our wonderful 2 week half term! Blessed to have a beautiful view of the Abbey from my English classroom. Yesterday, my son turned 7! We celebrated with family ❤️ He loves to read and received books as presents from me for his birthday (shock😅). I bought them from a beautiful independent book shop in St Albans.

Reading is one of the best things children can do to support them with their English studies. Reading has so many benefits! We expose ourselves to vocabulary, some of which we may not know the meaning of. You can google as you read to learn the meanings of new words! Communication skills and memory improve. Additionally, we can develop our emotional intelligence through reading and expand our imaginations and creativity!

I pride myself on being friendly, approachable, and caring, creating lessons that build confidence as well as skills.
