Dear All,

Below is the repair and mend workshop dates for April.

All are welcome regardless of experience, as these sessions are perfect for individuals with little or no experience in sewing. Bring along 1 or 2 slightly damaged or torn items, and we will guide you step-by-step in repairing them.

We have some sessions dedicated to repairing children's clothes and separate sessions for adult clothing. Excited news, we have a new session called Recreate and Design, where you can upcycle your old and unworn garments into something new.
Your imagination is the limit; we can't wait to see what you make and design.

Starting on:

Tuesday 7th April - Repair and Mend (Children's Clothes)
Tuesday 14th April - Repair and Mend
Tuesday 21th April - Recreate and design
Tuesday 28th April - Repair and Mend (Children's Clothes)

Let's be creative whilst we protect our planet by recycling, reusing and reducing.

This is thanks to the LEAF Project in partnership with Dmusdghub & The National Lottery Community Fund

We have had a great few weeks visiting our LEAF Partners and seeing what they have been up to!

🌳 Saffron Acres Project have been running their Ember and Earth sessions. We joined in and worked together to make a willow chair - doesn't it look fantastic?!

🍪 We joined ZamZam Unlimited at one of their sessions tor young people, and made some art out of recycled materials and some healthy cookies!

🌱 Somali Development Services showed us how their community garden at their office is coming along. We also dropped into their repair and mend workshop, where everyone was getting stuck into repairing clothes they had brought from home.

This has all been made possible with the National Lottery Community Fund providing funding for to engage people in taking positive action on climate change 💚

As the project progresses and we create the LEAF Network, you can receive updates on all of the work and the different partners' events by signing up to the mailing list:
