Our students performed brilliantly, with several achieving podium finishes! Their effort and attitude throughout the day made every student a real credit to the school 👏

A brilliant girls’ rugby training session last night with coaches from Leicester Tigers 🏉

Excellent effort and attitude from all involved! We are looking forward to hosting our Rugby Festival this week and seeing them in action! 💪👏

Our Year 10 students have had an unforgettable week in New York! ✨

From powerful moments at the 9/11 Memorial Museum to taking in iconic sights like the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge and the Empire State Building, it’s been a trip to remember. Students enjoyed a bike ride through Central Park, experienced the magic of Aladdin on Broadway, and explored history at the Tenement Museum 🗽

They also made the most of New York life, shopping on Fifth Avenue, sampling delicious food at Chelsea Market, touring Madison Square Garden, and even taking part in an educational talk at Hershey’s World of Chocolate.

A fantastic week full of learning, culture and lasting memories, well done Year 10! 🙌

🕒 Sessions run at lunchtime and after school (3–4pm), so there’s always a chance to join in, whether you're looking to train, compete, or just try something new.

👕 Full PE kit is required for all after-school sessions - come prepared and ready to move!

🔄 Activities will change throughout the year, covering a wide range of sports to keep things fresh and inclusive for all interests and abilities.

We’re collaborating with award winning social enterprise Stemettes for a fun day learning about FS, engineering and university!

The day will include:
A panel talk with female members of the FS team
A visit to the FS garage as the team prepare the car for FSUK
A team-building activity
A tour of the university campus and engineering facilities
Lunch and networking

Target audience: girls and non-binary in years 10-13
Date: Saturday 11th July, 11-4pm
Location: Loughborough University
Cost: Free to attend, lunch included
