I went to see the Adams family last night. And to my amusement I saw a pre-show picture of Gomez wielding a saber. I thought "will he use it properly?"....

Today marks the end of a truly epic 6 weeks at Long Field Spencer Academy . 5 amazing young people took part in a series of inclusive fencing sessions, they have taken onboard so much learning new skills, and a new sport they had never tried.
These 5 superstars have worked hard learning basic footwork, grip, etiquette, target area, attacking, quarte parry, repost...... Basically most of what is needed for a bout. Oh this also included seated fencing.
We used the noisy plastic foils for today's mini competition in the classic style outside under the shade of the trees. All the participants were presented with a, very well deserved, unique trophy by MlexUk Creative.
