My New Term

Do more this summer by bus.

This summer, spend less time worrying about parking and more time making memories!

From family days out and local attractions to shopping trips, meeting friends and discovering somewhere new, there is plenty to explore across Leicestershire.

Under the government’s Great British Summer Savings scheme, children aged between 5-15 years old will be able to travel for free on selected bus services in England for the month of August.

There’s also a range of group and family day ticket offers from operators within the Leicestershire Bus Partnership meaning there is lots to explore with little cost.

Join the Messy Church at South wigston Methodist church on Friday 31st July for some fun activities for the family.

Can you help!

It has been a busy term for our Year 4 pupils! They have been developing their writing skills inspired by recent author visits, targeting their narrative for Foundation Stage and sharing their stories with some of our younger pupils and their siblings.

In Science, they have been learning about the benefits of a healthy human digestive system and caring for teeth and in Art, they explored collagraphy and the printing process.

We look forward to seeing the results of the recent butter making process they have been learning about in DT and following Culture Week, they explored the nation and diversity of the Polish culture including dancing, language and cuisine.
