Watching you all grow has been one of our greatest privileges. From those very first nervous steps through our doors to the confident, kind and curious children you’ve become, it has been an absolute joy to be part of your journey.

You have made us proud every single day and reminded us why we love what we do. Thank you for all the smiles, laughter and wonderful memories you’ve given us. We look forward to your last day with us tomorrow. 😢

It was wonderful to welcome dads, stepdads, grandads, uncles, brothers, carers, guardians and other male role models into school to spend time with the children. From engaging classroom activities to fun outdoor experiences, it was a fantastic opportunity to learn, connect and create lasting memories together! 🙌

We’re proud to announce that our Colour Dash raised an amazing £3,075! 💚🌈

This fantastic total is a true reflection of the generosity, enthusiasm and commitment shown by our pupils, families and staff - thank you! 👏

This fundraising plays a vital role in helping LCH Charity support children where the need is greatest, while giving pupils a powerful, real‑world opportunity to show compassion, generosity and great citizenship.

We are a school partner of LCH Charity, who since 1898 have been striving to narrow the gap between those who have opportunities and those who do not. To support this cause, our pupils participated in a Colour Dash before half term! 🏃🌈✨

Each year group enjoyed a sunny Friday running around the school field, getting splashed with colourful powdered paint and bubbles!

It was a fantastic day for a wonderful cause, thank you to everyone involved 👏

We’re incredibly proud to share that our school has been awarded the Prem Aware Award! 🏆👏

Over the past few weeks, our entire teaching team has taken part in specialist training to deepen our understanding of how premature birth can impact a child’s learning and development. This has helped us strengthen how we support children throughout their educational journey.

As a result, we feel confident and well-prepared to meet the needs of all learners within our setting, ensuring every child receives the support they deserve.

We are delighted to have received recognition for putting this learning into practice. Well done, Team Huncote! 🙌
