🧠 Mental Health Through Creativity 🎨

As part of our Mental Health Awareness activities, our students took time out for a relaxing and meaningful exercise: drawing the person sitting next to them.

This light-hearted session brought plenty of smiles and laughter — but more importantly, it reminded us how valuable connection, kindness, and creativity are for our wellbeing.

Campus Connections - Introducing the Kindness Corner at UKBC

At UKBC, our commitment to student wellbeing goes beyond the classroom. As part of our Campus Connections programme, we’re proud to launch the Kindness Corner — a thoughtful initiative aimed at supporting any student who may be going through a difficult time.

Whether it’s accessing small essentials or simply experiencing a moment of kindness, the Kindness Corner is a quiet reminder that support is always within reach.

We invite our community to engage with this initiative by taking what they need, leaving what they can, and continuing to foster a culture of care.

Today’s CPD Highlight! As part of our ongoing staff development at UKBC, we had an insightful internal CPD session led by our Academic Team Lead, Tabitha Rodrigues, on Embedding Inclusive Practice in Higher Education.
Our team explored various learning needs, including neurodivergent support, and shared practical strategies to create more inclusive and supportive learning environments.
Great discussions, fresh perspectives – and we’re already looking forward to the next session!
