May Crowning Assembly 🌸🙏

On Tuesday, we came together as a school family to celebrate our beautiful May Assembly, honouring the crowning of Mother Mary. It was a truly special and prayerful occasion, reminding us of Mary’s love, kindness, and gentle guidance in our lives.

We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our wonderful parents, who donated such beautiful flowers for the celebration. These blooms not only adorned our assembly with colour and joy, but also became a meaningful gift beyond our school.

After the service, the flowers were lovingly taken to our local care home and shared with the residents. It was a touching way to spread kindness and reflect Mary’s message of compassion and care for others. The smiles they brought were a wonderful reminder of the importance of small acts of love.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this moment so special. May we continue to follow Mary’s example by showing love, peace, and kindness in all that we do. 🌷💖

🌳✨ Forest Club Fun with Mrs Fletcher! ✨🌳

Mrs Fletcher has been having an amazing time at Forest Club — and honestly, we’re not sure who’s had more fun… Mrs Fletcher or the children! 😄

As you can see from the photos, the children have been getting truly stuck in — climbing, exploring, building, and embracing their wild sides (in the best possible way!). 🌿🪵 From muddy hands to big smiles, every moment has been full of laughter, teamwork, and a little bit of adventure.

There’s something magical about learning outdoors, and Forest Club is the perfect place for curiosity to grow — along with a few muddy wellies! 👢🌱

Well done to everyone for your enthusiasm and brilliant teamwork… and a special shoutout to Mrs Fletcher for leading the way (and not minding a bit of mud along the way too!). 😆👏

We can’t wait to see what adventures come next! 🌲💚

🌿🎉 On Friday, we celebrated the birthday of the one and only Sir David Attenborough — and Year 1 & 2 took their mission VERY seriously… 🕵️‍♀️🍃

Armed with sharp eyes, endless curiosity, and the occasional dramatic whisper of “I’ve found something!”, our young explorers headed out on a nature walk to discover the wildlife right on our doorstep. 🐞🌼

We spotted flowers, insects, birds, leaves of every shape imaginable… and at least three sticks that were apparently “too amazing to leave behind.” 🌳😂

It was a wonderful reminder of the importance of slowing down, looking closely, and appreciating the incredible world around us — something Sir David has inspired generations to do. 💚

Who knows… we may even have a few future wildlife presenters in the making! 🎥🐛

✨ Words of wisdom from our littlest learners ✨

As our Year 6 children begin their SATs, our EYFS children had some very important advice to share.
Sometimes the sweetest encouragement comes from the smallest voices. Hearing our youngest children cheering on our oldest reminds us what our school family is all about — kindness, support, and believing in one another every step of the way. 🌟

To our amazing Year 6 pupils: we are already so proud of you. SATs do not define your brilliance, your creativity, or the wonderful people you are becoming. Just try your best and remember the whole school is behind you. 💙

Today was packed with fun from start to finish! 🎉

Our EYFS and Years 1, 2 and 3 pupils had an absolute blast dodging, ducking and diving in laser tag (future action heroes in the making! 😄), while Years 4, 5 and 6 took full advantage of the glorious sunshine, bouncing, rolling and giggling their way across the field in zorbs! ☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special — lots of smiles, laughter and unforgettable memories all around!

We cannot WAIT to meet our Reception Class of 2026! 🎉

Between now and then, we’ll be getting everything ready… sharpening pencils, organising story time favourites, and practising our best silly voices (strictly for educational purposes, of course!) 📚😄

We’re so excited for all the adventures ahead — from first friendships and muddy playtimes to big smiles, little victories, and those magical “I did it!” moments.

To our newest little learners: your pegs are waiting, your classrooms are ready, and your adventure begins very soon 💛

Roll on August… we’re counting down already! ✨

🐰✨ A Very Special Visitor Hopped Into School! ✨🐰

Just before we broke up for the holidays, we had a surprise guest bouncing around the playground… the Easter Bunny!

With a basket full of sweet treats (and some very impressive hopping skills), the Easter Bunny brought huge smiles to our children’s faces. These goodies were kindly donated by our wonderful PTFA, who always go the extra mile to make magical moments like this happen.

💛 A massive thank‑you to our PTFA — your fundraising, time, and generosity truly make a difference.
This is exactly what your donations help to create: joyful memories, excited children, and a school community that feels extra special.

Wishing all our families a happy, restful, and chocolate‑filled Easter break!

✨ A Beautiful Journey Through the Stations of the Cross ✝️

Today our Year 6 pupils led us in a moving and reverent reflection of the Stations of the Cross. With maturity, compassion, and deep faith, they guided our school community through Jesus’ final journey, helping us pause, pray, and prepare our hearts during this Lenten season.

Their thoughtful readings, prayerful presence, and respectful leadership reminded us of the true meaning of sacrifice, love, and hope. We are so proud of the way they embraced this important role within our Catholic community.

🙏 “We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you, because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.”

Well done, Year 6 — you helped bring the story of Jesus’ passion to life in a truly special way.

🌟 Ofsted Highlight: Support That Truly Makes a Difference 🌟

At our school, every child is seen, known, and supported. We’re proud that Ofsted recognised something we value deeply:
“Staff ensure that pupils receive the right level of support at the right time.”

That’s not just a line in a report — it’s the heart of what we do.

✨ Whether a child needs a challenge, a helping hand, or simply someone who believes in them, our team is there.
✨ We work closely with families to make sure every pupil feels confident, cared for, and ready to thrive.
✨ Our nurturing approach means no one slips through the net and every success is celebrated.

✨ A beautiful morning at school today!
We gathered as a community to celebrate the Feast of St Joseph with a special Mass. It was wonderful to see so many of our parents join us, filling the school with prayer, gratitude, and a real sense of togetherness.

Our children took part with such reverence and joy — a lovely reminder of St Joseph’s example of faith, kindness, and quiet strength.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the celebration so meaningful. 🌿💛
St Joseph, pray for us.
